Terms 4-9-07

1. Blog- This is relavent to a small business because its not very popular so it can start them off.
   
2. Web Site- This is relavent to a large coporation because they can advertise their products or items.
   
3. FTP- This is relavent to both a large corporation and a small business because they can exchange ideas and/or exchange ideas with another business.
   
4. HTTP- not realvent to either because they dont need to transfer files. Maybe to a couple of buisnesses and corporations.
   
5. Web services- For both because it can be used for standard programming.
   
6. Podcasts- A podcast is a media file that is distributed by subscription (paid or unpaid) over the Internet. This may be useful for music corporation but other than that its not relavent.
   
7. RSS feeds- RSS is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or podcasts.
8. VOIP- A protocol for transmitting the human voice in digital form over the Internet or other networks as an audio stream, instead of using traditional telephone lines. This is relavent for both because they can share information through Internet in digital form.
   
9. Web mail- Yes because they can send emails to other businesses.
   
10. Web browser: Firefox vs. Internet Explorer- This is not relavent to either because it does not matter.
    
    Then you will consider each term on your own blog and whether it is relevant to a small business or a large corporation.
